How To Clean Up Bearded Dragon Poop

If I am home, I do it as soon as I notice. Charlie has tile substrate, so I just use a baby wipe to clean up the messes and do a more thorough clean once every few weeks.

I clean it up as soon as it happens for two reasons. One because both my beardies seem to be afraid of their poop and need it out of the cage or they can't function haha.. And two it's gross and I don't want it all over their cage if they happen to run through it or whatever.

My husband and I take it out as soon as we notice. When I open our beardie's tanks to give them something to eat it is stinky so if it is like that to me, then I don't think they would want to constantly be smelling that as well. As for doing a whole cleaning of their vivs, we do that every 2 days.

I clean it out as soon as he goes when I'm home. I have those flat rocks you can buy in a net at petsmart and he always goes on that, I also have tiles under it so I just take everything he goes on out and wash them up. If I'm working though I will clean it first thing when I get home, because the same reason that my beardie is afraid of his poo and wont bask if it is in there :roll:

I clean mine as soon as I see it. They all have the very nasty habit of running through it and fingerpainting the glass. :puke: They usually go wherever the urge hits them, but every once in a while, one will mix it up and go in the salad bowl. You know....just to keep me on my toes.
